‘Destruction and annihilation’: Mohammed Siraj lauded after helping India claim Asia Cup title
Mohammed Siraj ran through the Sri Lankan cricket team in the final of the Asia Cup on Sunday, claiming six wickets for 21 runs and reducing them to a total of just 50 runs. In reply, India chased down the target in 6.1 overs, with 263 balls remaining as Shubman Gill scored 27 while Ishan Kishan scored 23.
Sri Lanka were bundled out in just 15.2 overs. This is the island nation’s lowest ODI total against India.
